A typical schedule on FRM exam day is as follows: (exact times may vary by exam site)

Morning check-in process: Candidates arrive for morning session and begin check-in process. All candidates must have their exam ticket, calculator and government issued photo ID ready for inspection. |

Testing room closes: Approximate time that the doors to the testing room(s) will close and announcements begin. (Once doors close, candidates will no longer be allowed to enter the testing room.) |

Afternoon check-in process: candidates arrive for afternoon session and begin check-in process again. All candidates need to have their exam ticket, calculator and government issued photo ID ready for inspection again. |

At the conclusion of each session, candidates must remain seated until all exam materials have been collected and counted. Because of enhanced exam security, this process may require candidates to remain seated for additional time after the 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. end times. Candidates must attend both the morning and afternoon sessions to have their exams graded.
Should a candidate arrive after the doors to the exam room have been closed, they will not be allowed to enter the room. No exceptions.
