Intermediate Credit and Financial Analysis

3 Day Workshop
(Workshop is not being offered at this time)

Introduction

As a credit and financial risk management professional, you are responsible for understanding, assessing and determining how financial concepts, theories and regulatory initiatives might impact your firm.  You must then evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of your organization's risk management systems and its capacity to deal in this fast paced and ever-changing environment.

This is an intermediate course which builds on a candidate’s basic understanding of credit and financial analysis.  Emphasis is placed the more complex ratio analysis, cash flow analysis, debt capacity and weight average cost of capital.  The course is interactive and includes the latest practical and theoretical developments in credit risk analysis – enhanced through the use of group exercises and case studies.

  • Build on the understanding of a company’s key credit drivers
  • Enhance an understanding of financial ratios
  • Evaluate a company’s credit performance

  • Construct a cash flow statement and understand the impact of changes in a company’s cash flow drivers (i.e., the impact on debt repayment)
